Shaun Shaun Axani, President and Executive Producer

Shaun is a graduate of the Radio and Television Arts school at Ryerson University. He enjoyed the experience so much, he returned in an instructor role, teaching students the technical side of television. In between his times at Ryerson, he’s worked on television sets including Canadian Idol and Ghost Trackers, and spent time as a project manager at Nortel, creating internal and external corporate videos. Shaun was producing and managing freelance projects for some time before he founded Little City nearly a year ago. Being one of those rare creative guys who also loves numbers, Shaun has spent the past several months educating himself on successful business models and speaking with leaders in the industry to strengthen his ever-expanding skill set.

Ernie Ernie Axani, Vice President

Ernie is a seasoned businessperson, with 25 years of managerial experience in the advertising field. Thus, he is an ideal mentor for Shaun as he navigates his way through the business world. Ernie currently is President and Owner of his own company, PharmAd Marketing Services Inc, who manage development and coordination of advertising and sales material for such long standing clients as SCA Personal Care, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Pepsico and Afexa.

Yoav Kogan, Producer

Aside from instructing technical aspects of video production at Ryerson University’s School of Radio and Television Arts, Yoav has a diverse working background that includes various aspects of audio/radio, television, film, and live events. With several short films, television segments, and highly successful radio shows under his producer’s belt, Yoav has proven that his skills as a producer and his technical knowledge combine to make him a key part of the Little City Media team.

Alejandro AlcobaAlejandro Alcoba, Producer/Camera Operator

Alejandro has worn many different hats – both figuratively and literally – in his time working in television and video production. Working as a director, producer, editor, camera operator and researcher, he has had the pleasure to work on many corporate videos, and for many television shows. Some recognizable projects include internal videos for Tim Horton’s and LIUNA, as well as primetime television shows Howie Do It, West 49 Ambition: Skate Camp, and Ghost Trackers. He has also worked on music videos and created interstitial content for channels such as Treasure HD and Oasis HD.

John Denniston, Director of Photography

John has spent the last 25 years working in all aspects of television. Starting in the sound and grip departments on television sets, he’s since moved over to the camera department where he’s been honing his skills for a decade. John has been camera operator for shows including the Gemini-nominated Ghost Trackers and Discovery HD’s GT Racer. Credits also include camera operator for shows on Bravo and Sun TV, as well as Director of Photography for documentary programming such as Bar Life on Life Network.

Richard Segal, Sound Designer

Richard has over 10 years experience in the audio industry and is an audio post-production specialist. He now works mainly as an audio post-production supervisor, but also boasts a solid background as a recordist, foley artist, sound designer, and composer.

Ginger Jarvis, Animator/Designer

Ginger Jarvis is an accomplished graphic and web designer, compositor and motion graphics artist. Over the past 4 years, Ginger has worked as a graphics designer and compositor with Lenz Entertainment on children’s television shows for Nickelodeon, CBC, YTV, Disney, and the BBC. Her most recent role was as a compositor on 56 episodes of BBC and Treehouse’s “Big & Small” where she performed postproduction animation and advanced green screen compositing. Ginger recently graduated from Ryerson’s Master of Arts in Media Production, and is now expanding her skill set as a Digital Artist at the IMAX Corporation. She has a strong understanding of aesthetics and design concepts, and loves all things artistic.

Shaggy Steven “Shaggy” Shanahan, Animator/Editor

Steven “Shaggy” Shanahan has spent the past 4 years producing graphic elements for such broadcasters as Food Network, Slice, and HGTV, bringing photos and other still imagery to life in 3D. His most recent compositing gig took him to Toronto’s stopmotion studio, Cuppa Coffee for the nick@nite series Glenn Martin, DDS.

Trevor Kai, Graphic Designer/Photographer

As a graduate from OCAD’s graphic design program, Trevor Kai is a creative and professional designer and photographer. Recently employed as an in-house designer at an architectural firm, Trevor photographed many projects for documentation and promotional purposes, in addition to designing many promotional materials and successful job proposals. Further work experience includes music and DVD packaging, digital photographic retouching, and logo and business card design. Trevor favours challenges, and is eager to learn more from new ones that undoubtedly arise from each project.

Bryan Colleran, Corporate Video Consultant

Bryan has spent 30 years in the advertising agency as a copyrighter and on a consulting basis. He currently operates his own agency, offering strategic consultation and creative development for a wide range of advertising and marketing communications agencies and client companies. Some recent companies he’s worked with include Bayer, Siemens, 3M, Hewlett Packard, and Manulife..
